The Dylan Strong Foundation

At our meeting on 19th November, our Rotarians from Banstead and Sutton Nonsuch heard a talk from Caroline, founder of the Dylan Strong Foundation ,about the charity dedicated to her young son Dylan, who sadly died of a brain tumour. In Caroline's words:

"The Dylan Strong Foundation was set up to help children with cancer.  We support families with nutrition following a child's cancer diagnosis.  The charity supports families by advocating for the best quality of life for children facing cancer.  We send yummy nutritious frozen meals home to give children all the things that help keep them feeling their best.

DSF works in lots of different hospitals stocking parents' rooms with healthy snacks, drinks and freezer meals.  We are also in the process of working with local hospitals to supply vending machines that will be stocked with healthier food choices which will include gluten, dairy and nut free options."
