Banstead Village In Bloom Quiz
It was time to get your thinking caps on as we took part in the annual Banstead Village in Bloom Quiz Night which was held on Saturday 27th October at Banstead Community Hall, Park Road, Banstead.
Teams of up to 8 were entered with a variety of challenging topics covered throughout the night and it was a most enjoyable evening. The question master was David Riley helped by his wife, Sara. A full buffet supper was served to help get those brains greased up. A raffle also took place throughout the evening. The grand total raised was an amazing £1,733.16 !
The Quiz was won by table 7 “Seven Up” which was The Banstead Rotary Club!
The quiz night sees the start of the blooming season for us as we prepare for many projects throughout the year. Funds raised from the evening will help support the financing of these projects along with the floral displays within Banstead Village.
